This page explains who runs the site, where the information comes from, how we use AI, and how to tell us about a mistake.

Who runs True Crime On Air

True Crime On Air is edited and published by Heejun Ahn, Editor & Publisher. The publisher sets the editorial rules and the list of sources, decides what the site covers and handles reader corrections. True Crime On Air is one of the OnAir Network sites, all run by the same publisher.

Where the information comes from

• Schedules and air times. Public listings data from TVmaze, checked against the broadcasters' and streaming services' own schedules and press pages.
• Names, results and episode details. The shows' and networks' official pages, press releases and announcements, plus established entertainment and news outlets. Each post lists its sources at the end.
• Video. When a show has an official clip, we embed it from the network's own YouTube channel. We do not reproduce full episodes or scripts.
• Photos. When we use a photo of a real person or event, it comes from Wikimedia Commons under its licence and carries a credit line.

How we check it

• Our publishing rules call for every air time, result and date to be matched against at least two sources before a post goes out.
• If the sources are missing or disagree, the rule is not to publish a guess: the post says what is unconfirmed, or leaves the detail out.
• Time-sensitive posts carry an “Updated” time in the byline, and when a schedule changes we update the same page instead of leaving an old version standing.

How we use AI

• Drafts. Posts are drafted with the help of AI. An automated workflow collects the data listed above, and an AI writing assistant prepares the draft from it, following the editorial and sourcing rules above.
• Images. Most lead images are illustrations generated with AI — empty sets, objects and abstract scenes. The image prompts exclude people, faces, text and logos. The information cards inside posts are made by our own scripts from the facts in the post.
• Bylines. Posts are signed “By the True Crime On Air desk” because they come out of this workflow, not from an individual reporter. We do not invent authors.
• Limits. Posts are prepared and published on a schedule by the automated workflow. We do not claim that a person reads and fact-checks every post before it goes live, which is why corrections matter.

How do I report a mistake?

Email ahj1975423@gmail.com with the page address and, if you have one, a source that shows the correct detail. When we confirm an error we fix the post and note the update time on it.

We are not affiliated with the networks, streaming services or shows we cover; their names are used to identify them. Pages may carry advertising or affiliate links; they never influence what we report.
